Shotlinq

Delete your account

Last updated: 11 August 2026 · Applies to both Shotlinq Android apps

This page explains how to delete your Shotlinq account and everything stored with it. It covers both apps. There are two ways to do it, and both delete the same things — you do not need the app installed to use the second one.

The short version. Deleting your account permanently removes your account and your Premium record from our servers, immediately, and it cannot be undone. In Shotlinq To-Do it also deletes your tasks, lists and streaks. In Habit Lock your habits and your record are not on our servers at all — they are on your phone, and uninstalling the app is what removes those. Neither deletes a Premium subscription — cancel that separately in the Play Store; instructions are at the bottom of this page.

Which app

AppWhat is on our servers
Shotlinq (to-do & focus lock)
com.shotlinq.app
Your email address, your Premium record, and your tasks, lists and streaks
Habit Lock
com.shotlinq.habitlock
Your email address and your Premium record. Nothing else

Option 1 — delete it yourself, in the app

In Shotlinq to-do & focus lock

Steps

  1. Open Shotlinq on your Android phone.
  2. Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account & all data.
  4. Read the warning, then tap Delete everything.

In Habit Lock

Steps

  1. Open Habit Lock and go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to the Account card and tap Delete account.
  3. Read the warning, then tap Delete permanently.

Deletion happens straight away in both apps. You will be signed out, and the email address you used can start a completely new account later if you ever want to come back.

If you are not signed in, there is no account to delete — use Option 2 below, or sign in first.

Option 2 — ask us to delete it

Steps

  1. Email privacy@shotlinq.com.
  2. Send it from the email address your Shotlinq account uses. This is how we confirm the account is yours — we will not delete an account on the word of a different address.
  3. Say which app it is for, or say both. Nothing else is needed.

We do this by hand, and we will complete it and reply within 30 days, usually much sooner. There is no charge and we will not try to talk you out of it.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Both apps

Data What happens
Your account and sign-in details (email address, authentication record) Deleted permanently, immediately
Your Premium status record — the row the app reads to know whether Premium is switched on Deleted permanently, immediately
Payment and purchase records Kept by Google, not by us. See below
Emails you have sent us Kept only if you emailed us, and only in our mailbox. Ask and we will delete those too

Shotlinq to-do & focus lock — additionally

Data What happens
Your tasks and the text in them, as stored on our servers Deleted permanently, immediately
Your lists, including locked ones Deleted permanently, immediately
Your streaks and completion history Deleted permanently, immediately
The copy of your tasks held offline on your own phone Stays on your phone until you uninstall the app

Habit Lock — your habits are not ours to delete

Deleting your Habit Lock account does not remove your habits. Your habits, your trigger windows, your verified and missed days, your score and your progress through the Master Protocol have never been sent to a server — they are held on your phone alone. There is nothing on our side to delete, and no backup anywhere.

Uninstalling Habit Lock is what removes them, and it removes them completely and permanently. That is the whole procedure, and it takes effect the moment the app is gone.

Shotlinq never receives or stores your card number, your bank details, or your billing address. If you bought Premium, Google is the merchant — the record of that sale belongs to Google Play, sits in Google's systems, and is kept for as long as Google's own policies and Indian tax and accounting law require. Deleting your Shotlinq account has no effect on it, and we cannot delete it on your behalf.

Nothing is retained beyond what these tables describe. We keep no backup copy of your data after deletion.

Before you delete: cancel your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel Premium. Subscriptions live with Google, not with us, and Google will keep billing you until you cancel it there.

Cancel it first: Play Store → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → choose the app → Cancel subscription.
